asphalt green inaugurates new turf field

Young soccer players helped break in a new turf field at Asphalt Green uptown last week. The field, on the fourth floor of the nonprofit’s Murphy Center, replaces a basketball court. The organization is moving its basketball classes, practices and leagues to nearby Sacred Heart’s Athletics and Wellness Center at 406 East 91st St.
