ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN

when a nail salon employee arrived at her store at 9:15 a.m. on april 21 to open for business, she discovered that someone had attempted to break in. cops found a broken security gate at the salon, at 135 w. 72nd st. between columbus and amsterdam avenues, and said that a crowbar and hammer were discovered at the scene. nothing was reported missing.
