WOMAN ROBBED AND ASSAULTED

a brooklyn woman was robbed on jan. 17 after exiting the subway at west 79th and broadway at 1:15 a.m. police said the 23-year-old woman was walking on west 80th street when a man pushed her to the ground and tried to take her backpack. the robber fled east, empty handed, on 80th street.
