Police are looking for the man who allegedly [sexually assaulted a woman] in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park early this morning. The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital, where she was listed in good condition. It seems the attack occurred around 1:15 a.m. and the suspect fled the scene. Apparently, the victim is a woman in her 30s who was walking in the park with her boyfriend when they were confronted by a man with a gun. She was not robbed, and both WNBC and NY1 are reporting that police did not refer to the incident as rape.

[Newsday.com], however, has a different story: “Details were sketchy, but police said the woman ran off, but later encountered the suspect, who raped her. The boyfriend, meanwhile, had also run off and may have lost contact with the woman.”

Police say the woman may have been at the park for a [Neville Brothers concert], though it ended around 10:30 p.m.
