When the Music’s Over

At midnight on Sunday, June 2, a 33-year-old male musician parked his tan 2001 Chevy station wagon at the corner of Wooster Street and Prince Street. After playing a gig, he returned at 4 a.m. and noticed that the locks of his car had been damaged and the instruments and equipment inside the car had been taken. Items stolen from the wagon included a Martin acoustic guitar valued at $3,300, a Mackie 8085 PA system valued at $750, instrument cables and a bag valued at $200, Sonor drum hardware worth $200, personal luggage valued at $150, $700 in cash, a red Takamine acoustic guitar worth $450, a black bass cabinet with Ampeg speaker valued at $150, and a blue digital camera worth $100. The total value of the haul amounted to $6,000.
