The results of the Family Research Council’s presidential "straw poll" are in, and boy are they bad for Rudy Giuliani.
The former mayor finished ahead of only John McCain in the poll among Republicans, grabbing just 1.85% (107 votes) of all ballots cast. The big winner is Mitt Romney, who edged out Mike Huckabee for the top spot by 30 votes. However, Romney’s strength was in the online portion of the poll. In person, Huckabee blew everyone away.
The poll coincided with the group’s recently held second annual Washington briefing. All candidates from both parties were listed on the ballot. Barack Obama picked up the most votes for any Democrat with a whopping 14.
