UPDATE: Van Found!

Via [Candice M. Giove](mailto:candicegiove@gmail.com?subject=Morris%20Katz) we have an update to the tale of [Morris Katz], the world's fastest artist, as she first reported [right here](http://nypress.com/20/5/informationagent/agent3.cfm) just a few weeks ago:

Morris Katz's van wasn't recovered as quickly as he could paint a cityscape. But about a month after the world's fastest painter's wheels were stolen from in front of his West 29th Street studio, police found his white 2000 Ford on Rockaway Boulevard.

"I have two vans now," Katz said.

Although it was the third time in the 74-year-old's career that thieves made off with one of his vans, the painter never lost hope. While the van cannot start, has shattered windows and broken locks, the artist was excited that some of his personal belongings and four of his paintings were still inside.

    "It's a miracle," Katz said.
