Sir Paul McCartney will be playing an unannounced free show at the Highline Ballroom on June 13. The ex-Beatle, who postponed the world tour for his new album “Memory Almost Full” until his ongoing divorce from second wife Heather dancing-with-the-one- -legged-star Mills has been completed, promised to perform just “bits and pieces” to support the record. Apparently, a secret show in America’s biggest city is just “bits and pieces” to someone who once belonged to the most successful band in history. The venue’s box office began distributing wristbands that will serve as golden tickets today at 12:30 p.m., but you probably won’t get one—we’re sure they were all gone by 12:31. If you hurry up, maybe there are some to be had on Craigslist, negating the whole free thing.
