the city has launched a new television series to give new yorkers tips on how to land a job. the 10-part series, "job hunt on nyc life," features advice on navigating the job market, using technology to land a job and nailing an interview. host tory johnson, founder and ceo of women for hire, speaks with experts and recruiters who share tips on résumés and cover letters. also, new yorkers will tell their stories of finding a job through the city's workforce1 career centers and nyc business solution centers. job hunt on nyc media, the city's official television, radio and online network, airs tuesdays at 9 p.m., with encore presentations throughout the week. for a complete schedule and channel listings, visit www.nyc.gov.
