Truck Robber Busted

a man was arrested on aug. 21 when he tried to steal cargo from a truck making a delivery to 380 amsterdam ave., near west 79th street. a police officer saw douglas davis, 58, open the commercial truck's cargo door and attempt to steal 12 cases of assorted juices and teas. davis was charged with burglary.
