TRAINING DAY TRICK

a man was able to knock over a doggy gym by tricking an employee into letting him in. police said that on april 4 at 11:27 p.m., a man buzzed the front door the biscuits and bath doggy gym, at 469 columbus ave. and west 83rd street. he told the 33-year-old employee cleaning up that he was there for training. cops said that when the employee opened the door to let the robber in, he said, "i really don't want to shoot you. give me the register." after the employee gave the robber cash, the thief fled the store and jumped into a maroon car that was double parked outside, according to police.
