TOURIST ROBBED

A Spanish tourist staying in a West 79th Street hotel was robbed while chatting with two men in a white four-door Lexus sedan. Police said that on Sept. 5 at 3:15 a.m., the two men pulled up in front of the 24-year-old victim, who was on the southwest corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 75th Street. When the victim took out his wallet during an unknown transaction, one of the men in the car grabbed the property and sped off. Police said the wallet contained a Spanish driver's license, a debit card and $90.
