Torpedo Taken

At 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, a 57-year-old man parked his motorcycle on W. 74th Street. When he returned to the parking spot at 1 p.m. the following day, his cycle was missing. The victim stated that video recorded at a building on Riverside Drive showed an unknown perpetrator loading the motorcycle into a van. Police conducted a canvass of the area but were unable to locate the missing motorcycle or the robber. An alarm was transmitted. The stolen cycle was a blue 2001 Italjet Torpedo with New York State plates, valued at $2,000.
