		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve known Elizabeth since she was eleven.  I was the Cantor at her Bat Mitzvah.  I can&#039;t stand to see her reduced to a two-dimensional headline.  Please don&#039;t let Elizabeth become a poster child just so you can make a point.  Everything you have said is germane, but you will no less validate your platform if you report, truthfully and happily, that Elizabeth is now out of the woods and recuperating in the bosom of her family, with outpatient therapy.  She still has a long way to go, but there is joy and laughter (some of it ribald, thank heavens) in her every moment.  I know people whose stories have sadly, gone in the other direction; you&#039;re not comforting their families by withholding good tidings.  ]]></description>
