The Same People Have Loved Or Hated Hillary For More Than A Decade
However polarizing a figure she might be, Senator Hillary Clinton is apparently only polarizing to the same group of people year after year.
Pollster.com has some charts up illustrating the favorable/unfavorable ratings for Clinton since 1993, and the graphs are remarkably stable from year to year. See them here. The bottom line, according to Pollster.com’s Charles Franklin:
"Senator Clinton remains a
public figure who has both a large following of supporters and one who suffers
from a substantial antipathy. At the moment, the Senator enjoys more supporters
than opponents. Whether than margin is enough to win a national contest or now
is, of course, what Democrats (and perhaps the rest of the electorate) will
have to decide in the coming months.
