    A new Rasmussen poll finds majority support for a universal government health care plan, with 51% of those polled stating that the time is right for such a plan. However, that support drops to 31% if universal health care required one to drop their current insurance in favor of a government-run plan.

    Of those respondents already with health insurance 68% feel their health care quality would decrease under government management. Just 18% thought it would get better.
