DOMESTIC ASSAULT ARREST

By Dan Rivoli Domestic Assault Arrest A 32-year-old woman was arrested on assault charges after striking her ex-boyfriend in the face with a water pitcher. Police said that while the ex-boyfriend was on the couch talking on the telephone, they got into an argument, which prompted the woman to lob a water pitcher. The attack, which took place in a West 63rd Street apartment on July 24, caused lacerations above the victim's eyes. Police said the ex-boyfriend struck the woman back in self defense, but he was not arrested.
