At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, a 47-year-old man was working at a job at Varick Street and parked his car containing work equipment across the street. When he came back out to his car a few hours later, he noticed that the driver's side window had been broken and property in the rear of the vehicle was missing. The gear gone was a Samsung tablet valued at $450 and OTDR fiber testing equipment valued at $6,500.
