Teen Assault

A 17-year-old girl was taken to Roosevelt Hospital on July 2 after she was assaulted on the sidewalk in front of 40 Amsterdam Avenue, between West 63rd and 64th streets. Cops said that at 1:13 a.m., Crystal Rodriguez, 19, and Brian Garrido, 21, allegedly punched the teen repeatedly and swung a baseball bat at her. Both were arrested and charged with assault.
