a woman who bought thousands of dollars worth of memorabilia from tavern on the green and the plaza hotel reported that her merchandise was stolen march 13. police said the woman, who owns a company based on west 72nd street, was perusing ebay when she saw her tavern on the green items up for bidding. she discovered that the items were missing from her inventory. she says the only person with access to her inventory was a man she hired to help her move the tavern on the green items she recently purchased. the value of the items totaled $45,885.
