Take A Chopper To East Hampton

If [Brooklynites thought they were lucky] to have the Jitney, get a load of this: Last week, the first scheduled [helicopter service between East Hampton Airport](http://www.flyush.com/seasonal_service.shtml) and Midtown Manhattan was unveiled, and at the low, low price of $1,600 a pop. But that’s a small price to pay—actually, nearly double other charter services—for access to snooty beaches in a mere 35 minutes. Last Friday’s debut flight was full, but seats are still available for this weekend. Here’s what you can look forward to you if you’re friends with Richie Rich, according to [The New York Sun](http://www.nysun.com/article/57733?page_no=1): “U.S. Helicopter has reconfigured its fleet of four 12-seat Sikorsky choppers into eight-passenger cabins that feature wide, plush leather seats in blue, white and beige.” What, no red?
