Jewelry Stolen in Burglary

Financial Folly

Police said that a student organization at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center Campus, the Fordham Follies, was robbed March 29. A member of the performance group told police that $2,400 that the group had collected was stolen from an office at the Fordham University School of Law, 140 W. 62nd St., between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues.

Tavern on the Green Thief

A woman who bought thousands of dollars worth of memorabilia from Tavern on the Green and the Plaza Hotel reported that her merchandise was stolen March 13. Police said the woman, who owns a company based on West 72nd Street, was perusing eBay when she saw her Tavern on the Green items up for bidding.
