Violent Assault at Duane Reade

A 24-year-old man was arrested after trying to swipe merchandise from a Duane Reade and attacking a security guard. Police said that April 16, Mark Krowiak tried to steal $57 worth of cosmetics and cough medicine from the Duane Reade at 1889 Broadway and West 63rd Street. Truck Robber Busted

COSMETICS HEIST

William Acevedo was arrested on Nov. 20 for attempting to steal $617.53 in cosmetics from the Duane Reade at 976 Amsterdam Ave., between West 108th and 109th streets.
