To the Editor: Regarding the letter from Peter Goldwasser of Transportation Alternatives to Bette Dewing (“Efforts for Pedestrians,” Nov. 6)—first, I would like to applaud Bette Dewing for her years of hard work as an activist on issues such as noise, bikes and the community.
