To the Editor: Please add Katz’s Delicatessen to your excellent “Best of Manhattan” issue (Oct. 15). Eating at Katz’s is a religious experience for those who enjoy a great deli. Go downtown to enjoy authentic New York food eaten by generations of Big Apple residents. Don’t forget to stuff a dollar in the tip cup for the counterman.

DELI EMPLOYEE ASSAULTED

An employee at a deli on 700 Amsterdam Ave., at West 94th Street, was assaulted by four or five males and one female. Police said that on Sept. 25 at 4:15 p.m. the employee asked the group to leave for loitering. They responded by kicking and punching the 19-year-old deli worker, according to cops. After
