Late-Night Robbery

One Day, Two Robberies

A man was arrested after his second robbery in the span of minutes. Police said that March 7 at 8:38 p.m., William Perry, 52, tried to steal a full tip jar from Screme Gelato Bar, at 2030 Broadway and West 70th Street. The owner followed Perry as he fled into a nearby Food Emporium supermarket.

Stolen Wheels

Make Up Stolen from Car

A 22-year-old Brooklyn man reported that a carry-on suitcase full of expensive cosmetics was stolen from his car. The car—which had a customized license plate that read “SMACKTHT”—was parked in front of 303 W. 66th St. and West End Avenue. The suitcase, which was in the driver’s side rear seat, contained cosmetics valued at $3,650.

Bellini Burglarized

Caught Red-Handed

A man was arrested Feb. 27 at 3:30 p.m. after he was spotted breaking into a seventh-floor apartment through the window.
