Suspect In New Year's Eve Murder

[Eyewitness News ]has a twisted little story about the murder of Fermina Nuñez on New Year’s Eve. Apparently, police have made a second arrest in the homicide of this Midtown salon worker, and are now calling it a “murder for hire.” They pay folks to kill off beauticians now? Police explain that Nunez kept the salon open to ready folks for New Year’s celebrations but was shot as she lay on the floor with three other women. The suspected hit man was arrested in the Bronx and Nunez’s boyfriend was arrested just this morning for attempting to commit suicide. That’s depressing.
