Susie Lupert, Vice President of Housing Works
My prediction for 2012 is that the New York Times will report (again) that independent bookstores are on the rise and that sales are up. The Times will also report that e-books have surpassed hardcover sales by 100 percent. Somehow these two points will not seem incongruous to people.
I also predict that the city will continue to cut funding for homeless people who are HIV positive. Our organization will continue to advocate on their behalf.
