Subway Robbery

Two teen girls are wanted for trying to rob another teen at the subway station at West 72nd Street and Broadway. Police said that on Nov. 17 at 8:15 a.m. in a southbound express train, one girl sat next to the victim while the other stood by the subway door. As the train pulled into the station, one teen tried to snatch a cell phone from the victim’s hand. The victim, a Bronx resident, resisted and was elbowed in the chest. The teen thief escaped out the subway door, which was being held by her accomplice. Cops said the two ran onto a southbound 1 train that pulled into the station.
