STRINGER FOR BP, AGAIN

    After weeks of speculation that Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer would run for either public advocate or comptroller, he announced on Nov. 6 that he would seek re-election in 2009. Stringer, in his first term as borough president, shelved his citywide ambitions when term limits were extended by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a move he supported in testimony to the Council.
