Striking Robbery

A woman was struck in the face by a mugger while walking home from a park on the afternoon of June 29. She told police that a man hit her with an open hand and took her iPhone. Cops said the incident took place at 3:30 p.m. in front of 208 W. 84th St., between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. The mugger ran west on West 84th Street.
