Stealing the Show

A man stole a 61-year-old woman’s purse Aug. 25 while she watched a movie at Lowe’s Theater at 1998 Broadway and West 68th Street. The woman told police that the handbag was on the chair next to her when a man grabbed it and ran. She chased after but lost him when he ran out of the theater’s doors. The pocketbook contained  $4 cash, an iPod and credit cards.
