Whatever good feelings Americans might have for environmental crusader and former Vice President Al Gore they don't want to see him enter the 2008 race for president, according to a new Gallup Poll.

The poll, released this morning, found that those who want Gore to stay out of the race defeat those who want him to jump in 57-38. Though Democrats do favor a Gore campaign, Republicans and independents are by no means looking for Gore to try a second presidential run.
