Spike Lee To Direct James Brown Movie

Brooklyn born Spike Lee, the director most recently known for the crime thriller "Inside Man," starring Jodie Foster and Denzel Washington, will team with producer Brian Grazer to [release a biopic] focused on the life of James Brown. The team had already secured official rights to the project as well as all James Brown's original music from the singer when he was still alive. No word yet on who will play Brown in the lead role. The project is slated for release in 2008.
