The auction house on York Avenue at is seeking a buyer as first reported by The New York Post last week. Eastdil Secured is marketing the building at 1334 York Ave between 71st and 72nd streets to potential buyers that could include hospitals seeking space, developers, office and operators. The glass and granite building comprises 500,000 square feet with some ceilings as high as 24 feet. Architects Kohn Pederson Fox redesigned and modernized the 1921 in 2000 at a cost of approximately $150 million.
