Something Sinister Beneath The Bronx…

A municipal worker investigating a broken water heater in the Bronx today stumbled upon a subterranean hideaway filled with [preserved organs, skulls and medical paraphernalia]. Although none of the remains appeared to human, the inspector did find plastic stalactites, biology textbooks and, according to 1010 WINS, [“a refrigerator storing blood.”](http://www.1010wins.com/pages/834175.php?contentType=4&contentId=819657)

8-year-old Nicholas Mondalvo, who moved into the building with his parents a few months past, told the New York Post that “it’s dark down there. There’s no light. You feel like you’ll fall through the floor.” Residents of the building, which is owned by a convicted sex-offender (currently in prison), claim that they have been complaining about the building’s condition for some time, to no avail.

Although the medical examiner has begun testing the remains to determine if any are, in fact, human, so far there is no evidence of criminal activity. On a comforting note, 1010 WINS (which first reported the incident) notes that, “even if they are [human], it is possible they [may be legal to possess].” Sleep tight, everyone…
