Sigur Ros at Sound Fix (kinda)

Sigur Ros, elfin Icelandic space-rock foursome of renown, are working on their newest album.  In an [interview with Pitchfork], singer Jónsi Pór Birgisson intimated the upcoming album will not differ substantially from its predecessors, a revelation unlikely to bother many fans.

Even if the album were a straight reissue of Agaetis Bryjun, we think those fans would probably just pull up their hoodies, lie in an open field and listen to it anyway.  Maybe they’d smoke pot.

A new live DVD of the band, [Heima], is due to arrive November 20.  The new film is screening [Monday night](http://www.hvarf-heim.com/events/) at Sound Fix.  Free PBR will be served.
