Not only did Rev. Al Sharpton tell the world yesterday that he might run for president again in 2008, he also threw some cold water on the aspirations of his Democratic counterpart from Illinois, freshman Senator Barack Obama. Quote:
"Right now we’re hearing a lot of media razzle dazzle," Sharpton said. "I’m not
hearing a lot of meat, or a lot of content. I think when the meat hits the fire,
we’ll find out if it’s just fat or if there’s some real meat there."
This might be the first time any high-profile Democrat took such a public shot at Obama and his lack of Washington experience. No response from the Senator has been forthcoming.
