Sharpton Cracks Obama, Hints Another Run

Not only did Rev. Al Sharpton [tell the world yesterday] that he might run for president again in 2008, he also threw some cold water on the aspirations of his Democratic counterpart from Illinois, freshman Senator Barack Obama. Quote:

"Right now we're hearing a lot of media razzle dazzle," Sharpton said. "I'm not hearing a lot of meat, or a lot of content. I think when the meat hits the fire, we'll find out if it's just fat or if there's some real meat there."

This might be the first time any high-profile Democrat took such a public shot at Obama and his lack of Washington experience. No response from the Senator has been forthcoming.
