Sexy Singing Jihae Teaches Us to Kiss Our Own Tongues
I got to [Nublu] just in time for sound check and there was[ Jihae](http://www.jihae.net) looking sexy as ever. The scene looked like a video shoot with a dude right in front of her face filming seduction wrapped in a white tank and black vest.
Like a female Thom Yorke, she crooned and sighed her way through the airy music. The evening was comprised of two sets -- the first being songs from the remix EP "Afterthought" and the second set songs from her upcoming EP.
A cover of Nina Simone's "Do I Move You?" was included in the first set and proved to be the standout performancewith the electronic beats moving, grooving and thrilling all at once.
Jihae's voice is sexy (speaking and singing) but the music is so ambient that I was thankful for the free beers that almost led me to do what my friends have dubbed the noodle danceswaying like a hippie. See Mary Kate in The Wackness.
During the second set, Jihae thanked the audiences virgin ears and a song called "Kissing Your Own Tongue" followed. She asked if anyone has ever tried to kiss their own tongue, while commenting, "its kind of fun -- try it." OK?!
This post-modern Sade drew more people in for the second set, most likely because the night becomes riper for discovery as the clock ticks on.
Sweet Jihae even thought to ask if anyone had a birthday in July – to which she responded with a rather sexy solo. Lucky guy!
