Serial Killer In Training

A Manhattan man has been arrested and charged with brutishly beating his cuddly-wuddly, cutesy-wootsy, snuggly-fugly 5-month-old puppy to death. Apparently, [Oleg Zhdanov, 37, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cruelty to animals yesterday and will serve 45 days in jail]. Such a neutral number—it’s hard to say if it’s way too little or not enough. Back in November, Zhdanov got three years’ probation in Manhattan Supreme Court for the death of his Labrador-rat terrier mix, Leiu. It seems he adopted his latest victim from a shelter and has been torturing her ever since. That's right, it was a her. What a mean, mean man. Seriously. (http://flickr.com/photos/tostie14/)
