Trent Benefield, bachelor partygoer and subsequent victim of the NYPD’s now-notorious 50-bullet-discharge, has been arrested for allegedly attacking his girlfriend. Benefield, 23, is accused of punching Nyla Page-Walthrus, 29, in the face and throat, and hitting her with a car door in South Jamaica Tuesday night. Plainclothes cops (eash) said they witnessed the assault, but Page-Walthrus says her boyfriend didn’t lay a harmful hand on her. Nevertheless, Benefield has been charged with third-degree attempted assault, second-degree harassment, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle to start. If this doesn’t go away, he could face up to 90 days in jail or a $500 fine.
