SCHOOL EXPANSION OK’D
The city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission approved Columbia Grammar and Prep’s controversial rear-yard addition Feb. 9. The commission voted unanimously in favor of the project, which underwent several changes to appease neighbors’ concerns.
Commission chair Robert Tierney said it is a “fine project that’s been done carefully and sensitively,” according to spokesperson Lisi de Bourbon.
