    UPDATE: According to various message boards, XM is facing major subscription cancellation from Opie and Anthony lovers who are willing to forgo their precious satellite radio in order to show support for the controversial shock jocks and distaste over the "censorship" that has pervaded radio as of late.

    Yesterday, XM Satellite Radio suspended shock jocks Opie and Anthony for 30 days, one week after airing Homeless Charlie’s admission that he’d love to [rape Condoleezza Rice], Laura Bush and Queen Elizabeth II, and one day after they complained of the public’s excessive reaction in another broadcast.

    “We’re under the same [scrutiny as (National Public Radio)]—it doesn’t make sense,” the duo lamented on Monday’s show, when they also [commiserated with Don Imus](http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070516/ap_en_ot/shock_jocks_sex_comment_13) over his [recent firing](http://nypress.com/blogx/display_blog.cfm?bid=62369649), saying his career is now “gone, just because he was trying to entertain people.”
