Rudy's Pros & Cons
The Gallup Organization has taken the pulse of the American voter when it comes to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
The new poll measures what voters feel are the potential positives and negatives of a Giuliani presidency, and nothing gives people more confidence in the former mayor than 9/11. "Good on terrorism/security/Handling of Sept. 11" was the top positive, with 15% of respondents citing it as the main reason to like Giuliani. "Strong leader," which could also have something to do with the perception of the man after 9/11, was the second choice with 7%.
As for the negatives, 15% said Giuliani's lack of experience on the national stage would be a serious drawback to his presidency. His potential personal problems, that being his marital problems, affairs and multiple divorces, comes in second at 7%.
