A few minutes later on that same Sunday afternoon, a 30-year-old man was involved in a vehicle accident on E. 63rd St. with an unknown man driving a vehicle with Pennsylvania plates. The victim exited his vehicle to speak with the other man, at which time the other man exchanged words before punching the victim multiple times in the right chest area and then in the right eye with his closed fist. The second man then grabbed the victim's blue Nokia cell phone from his hand and fled with the phone in his vehicle. The victim reported that the perpetrator never exchanged information for the vehicle accident. The victim was transported to New York hospital to treat his injury after the assault. The perpetrator, a 26-year-old man, was arrested on April 30.
