Rivera To Bloomberg: One Of Us! One Of Us!

Bronx Democratic County leader Assemblyman Jose Rivera (pictured) is not satisfied with Mike Bloomberg's switch from Republican to independent. He wants him to come back to the Democratic party, the party Bloomberg called home until he decided to run for Mayor in 2001.

"After Mayor Bloomberg was first elected, I had a meeting with him where I asked him to come back home to the Democratic Party," said Rivera. "In a meeting with the Mayor on May 23, I again urged him to come back to our party. The Mayor would be a great addition."
