Republicans Set To Pounce

In honor of the Democratic presidential forum in Carson City, Nevada, the Republican National Committee is distributing research books on each of those candidates, hoping to offer the media and other interested parties a look at just what the problems, from a Republican perspective, might be for each candidate.

RNC press officer Lisa Miller, in a conference call a few minutes ago, said that the Republicans were taking advantage of the first major Democratic event to reveal some of their own research, adding that the RNC research will show the Democratic Party has far more candidates than real plans for the future of the county.

Miller also took a few shots at some of the top-tier candidates on the Democratic side, noting that Barack Obama was not participating in the event and was "operating in a bubble," and asking if John Edwards could explain which one of the two Americas his multi-million dollar mansion was located in.

More to come as the research is made available.
