Reports: Edwards To Drop Out?

John Edwards will hold a press conference today at noon with his wife, Elizabeth. Details are sketchy, but reports are surfacing that the event is related to a visit yesterday by his wife, who is a breast cancer survivor, to her doctor.

Speculation is that either Edwards will announce that he will take a break from the campaign to help his wife get better, or that he will drop out entirely.
