Purse Pursuit

Someone stole the purse of a 34-year-old woman working in a copy shop on Lexington Avenue. At 7:50 PM on Sunday, July 14, the woman was sitting at a computer with her back facing the door of the establishment when she realized that her purse, which she had placed on top of the table, was gone. Two unknown male thieves ran out of the location, heading northbound on Lexington Avenue toward the subway station. The woman ran after them, chasing them, at which time one of the thieves dropped her purse. She checked the bag and found nothing had been taken. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the thwarted thieves.
