PURSE AND JACKET SNATCHING

two people were mugged on april 12 at 4:30 a.m. while walking on west 83rd street between amsterdam and columbus avenues. the 22-year-old man had a $350 jacket slung over his shoulder, while the 24-year-old woman held a purse. police reported that two robbers ran up to them from behind and swiped the property. the thieves ran south on columbus avenue.
